Verified Presence Infrastructure.
Proof that a real human authorized the action — for the institutions that carry the risk.
VPI is Amplivy's deployment of Deterministic Verification for regulated and commercial institutions. It verifies, deterministically, that a real human is present and in control at the moment a protected event executes — and it is built to hold nothing.
What it changes.
Eliminates the category of fraud that scales — account takeover, impersonation, synthetic and automated actors — at the point of the event, before it commits.
Keeps a real human in control of consequential actions, including any an autonomous AI agent attempts on a person's behalf.
Composes with existing identity and security investments rather than replacing them.
For an institution, the shift is quiet. Nothing new to issue, nothing new to store. The fraud that depends on an absent human simply stops working — and the customer notices nothing except that it did.
Additive to what you already do.
Your KYC establishes who opened the account. VPI establishes that a real human is present and in control when the account is used. Identity is the front door; presence is the layer beneath it. VPI is additive — it strengthens the controls you already run, and it holds nothing.
AmplivySecure — the telco deployment
AmplivySecure brings Deterministic Verification to the carrier layer. Most scams that scale begin with a synthetic, absent operator — an AI-generated text, a cloned voice, a spoofed number, sent at industrial volume. AmplivySecure verifies origination and stops the synthetic lure before it reaches the customer — severing the scam at step one, on the network itself.
This is the origination end of authorised-push-payment and impersonation fraud. AmplivySecure does not arbitrate a deceived customer's final decision; it stops the automated outreach that starts the deception. For carriers, that is scam-prevention infrastructure aligned directly with the obligations regulators are now writing into law (see Regulatory Landscape).
Where it applies.
Built to hold nothing.
The presence check never receives identity. Nothing is retained. An operator could not keep a history even if it wanted to — data sovereignty enforced by the architecture, not by a policy promise.
Regulatory alignment.
Amplivy's position is already on the public record. SPF submission · Regulatory Landscape.
Identity establishes who opened the account; presence establishes who executed the event.
